Healthy Banana Muffin Recipe

Whole wheat banana muffins sweetened with honey and spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare a lined or greased muffin pan. 2. In a bowl, mash bananas with a fork until slightly clumpy. 3. Stir honey, egg, and oil into the banana mixture. 4. Add in whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and spices. 5. Fold in chocolate chips. 6. Pour 0.25 cup batter into each muffin cup, optionally sprinkling chips and walnuts on top, and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center. 7. Allow the muffins to cool for 15 minutes.
