Chinese Garlic Sauce
Savory Chinese-style stir-fry sauce with fresh garlic, ginger, and soy sauce thickened with cornstarch.

01Add all sauce ingredients to a medium bowl and whisk, then set aside. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan or skillet over medium heat, add fresh garlic and ginger, and saute for 30-60 seconds, stirring frequently. 3. Whisk the sauce again and pour it into the saucepan. 4. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes until thickened, stirring frequently. 5. Use immediately in a stir-fry or as a dip, or let cool and pour into a clean jar.
