Apple Strudel (Dessert)

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and roll out the puff pastry on a lined baking tray. 2. Rinse and chop the apples into half-inch pieces and stir with the remaining filling ingredients in a large bowl. 3. Pour the apple mixture over the dough, forming a rectangular mound in the middle with a 2-inch border. 4. Fold the top and bottom over the filling, then fold in the sides, pinching the seams to seal. 5. Optionally brush with melted vegan butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar. 6. Bake seam side down about 35 minutes until lightly golden brown. 7. Cool 10 minutes, dust with powdered sugar, slice, and serve.
