Apple Cinnamon Rolls (Dessert)
Gluten-free vegan cinnamon rolls filled with spiced chopped apples.

01Dissolve the yeast and a teaspoon of sugar in lukewarm milk and set aside 10 minutes until frothy. 2. Whisk the flours, starches, psyllium husk powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. 3. Add the softened butter and yeast mixture and knead 5-10 minutes until smooth. 4. Cover and rest in a warm place at least 45 minutes. 5. Meanwhile, finely chop the apples and stir with the remaining filling ingredients. 6. Roll the dough out on floured parchment into a large rectangle about half an inch thick. 7. Spread the filling over the dough, roll it up carefully with the help of the parchment, and cut into 9 buns. 8. Place in a lightly greased 8 or 9-inch square dish and bake at 356 degrees F (180 degrees C) for about 25 minutes. 9. Cool until just warm and optionally frost with icing sugar mixed with plant-based milk.
