  • 1 can โ€” chickpeas, rinsed and drained • 1/4 cup tahini • 2 tbsp olive oil • 2 tbsp lemon juice • 1 garlic clove • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric • 1/2 tsp ground cumin • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste • 2 to 4 tbsp water, as needed for consistency • Optional pinch of black pepper
